Yes.  The number of CE credits required to fulfill New York's controlled substance education requirement is two (2).  Any online course that focuses on the use, misuse, documentation, safeguarding and prescribing of controlled substances will satisfy the requirement.  These links may help you to find some options:


NYSVMS provides online controlled substances CE. We deliver 4 live webinars a year, and you can also take the course online at any time.


NYSVMS and its chapters occasionally provide controlled substance CE at regional meetings and at the annual New York State Veterinary Conferences.  A list of other approved continuing education providers can be found on NYSED's website at http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/vetmed/vetceproviders.htm. Perhaps you can identify and contact some companies on the list that might offer CE having to do with controlled substances.  Upcoming CE sessions may be listed on their websites.
