Integrated Chapters are operated as Divisions of NYSVMS.

This means that their funds are managed together with the NYSVMS funds but identified as belonging to the Chapter.

The method of identifying the funds that are managed by the Chapter Committee is to use Quickbooks "Class".

For example, every transaction that relates to Capital District will be assigned to the Quickbooks Class "Capital District".


There are some problems in continuing to use an existing quickbooks class for an integrated chapter. Therefore for the chapters that integrated after Capital new classes are being created using the initials of the chapter

eg: CNYVMA (with subgroup CNYACE)



In this way, both Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports can be run with a filter set to show only "Capital District" as shown below
